This Copyright Acceptance Notice constitutes a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you” or “creator”) and Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes India (“ECHO India”, “we,” “us” or “our”), concerning your access to and use of the website as well as any other media form, media channel, mobile website or mobile application in relation to ECHO India (collectively, the “Platform”).

You agree that by accessing the Platform, you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out herein. This Copyright Acceptance Notice constitutes an integral part of the Terms of Use All capitalised terms used, but not defined herein shall have the same meaning as ascribed to them under Terms of Use. If you do not unconditionally accept these terms and conditions, kindly discontinue use of the Platform immediately.

Copyright and Ownership Information

All contents on the Platform are protected under Indian copyright laws and common law treaty provisions. The content on this Platform, being inter alia case presentations, online courses, lectures, webinars, articles, videos, links and any other material of such nature (“Content”) are the copyrighted work of the creators of the said Content, whether or not the same is being uploaded by the said creator on the Platform. ECHO India does not claim any copyright over the same.

Rights granted to ECHO India

The creators of the Content agree to grant ECHO India a nonexclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display the Content throughout the world in any media for as long as the creators are permitted to grant the said licence under applicable law. In case you are not the creator of the Content, you represent that you are fully authorized by the creator to upload the Content on the Platform and grant the aforesaid license to ECHO India.

You are under full liberty to determine the accessibility settings to the Content as public/ private and to determine whether you wish to make the same accessible/downloadable by other users of the Platform.

Rights granted to Users

ECHO India grants you a nonexclusive, royalty-free, revocable license for printing and downloading portions of Content which have been made downloadable from the different areas of the Platform. However, the said license is subject to the following restrictions: -

  1. (i) The use of the Content is solely for informational and non-commercial purposes;
  2. (ii) The Content cannot be modified, adapted, translated or revised in any manner;
  3. (iii) The Content plainly displays all the copyright and other proprietary notices, in the same form and manner as on the original; and
  4. (iv) Any reproduction of the Content displays a statement that the Content are used solely with permission of ECHO India.

Any files which you download from the Platform are governed exclusively by Indian Copyright Laws and any reproduction or redistribution of such Content not in accordance with the laws in place is expressly prohibited.

General Terms

You may not otherwise copy or transmit the contents of the Platform, including the Content either electronically or in hard copies. You may not alter the content of the Platform in any manner.
